Spanner Crab is in high season from July to October, and is one of the sweeter crab varieties. It is a favourite because of its versatility. Best in fresh Italian pasta dishes and Asian salads, it’s a great mid-week light and fresh tasting pick-me-up. The radiant red colour in the crab signifies its prominence, great both cooked or to play around with in your cooking.
